101 Things About Me

  1. My full name is Muhammad Faisal.
  2. My nickname is ‘Phoenix’ (n. mythical bird, the only one of its kind, that burnt itself on a pyre and rose from the ashes to live again}
  3. My zodiac sign is Aries.
  4. Apart from Aries, my favourite star is Sagittarius.
  5. My date of birth is April 19.
  6. The date of birth is lucky 07 for all of my brothers (three of them).
  7. I’m 172 cm tall.
  8. My native city is Chakwal.
  9. But my city of birth is Lahore.
  10. Currently I’m doing Masters in ELTL from The University of Lahore.
  11. Besides doing my studies, I’m also doing a job.
  12. I’m working as a Web & Graphic Designer in a software house named Cranium International located in Gulberg, Lahore.
  13. Web designing is my labour of love.
  14. I have not taken any classes pertaining to web or graphic designing.
  15. I worked on this skill myself while I was spending some time in Chakwal with my family after my graduation.
  16. I have done Bachelors of Computer Science from The Global College Lahore.
  17. I completed my Intermediate of Computer Science from The Garrison College Lahore.
  18. And I completed my Matriculation from Fauji Foundation College Rawalpindi.
  19. I want to settle in Chakwal after completing my education & getting some experience in my field.
  20. My elder brother Muhammad Ejaz has computer and mobile shop named COMPRO in Chakwal city.
  21. There are lots of people I love. Off course that include my parents, my brothers, and there are lot of other people too.
  22. Of all the children in my family and , I like Saba the most. She is amazing.
  23. I can’t imagine living without computer.
  24. And I think Internet is the must have for everybody.
  25. I don’t chat much (i.e. I don’t chat just for the sake of it).
  26. I love to read quotes.
  27. I like to collect desktop wallpapers.
  28. My favourite PC game series is Fifa by EA Sports.
  29. My Fifa fantasy team consists of following great footballers:
    Iker Casillas (GK), Roberto Carlos, Sol Campbell, Nesta, Salgado, Beckham, Gerrard, Zidane, Ronaldinho, Henry and last but not the least Ronaldo.
  30. I’m a sports fanatic.
  31. I’m good at facts & figures about different sports.
  32. My favourite sport was Cricket but now it is Football.
  33. My weekends essentially consist of watching football.
  34. At the time of writing this list I’m also watching football match and Owen has just scored for New Castle United.
  35. I’m huge fan of Real Madrid but alas they are in the bad run recently.
  36. My favourite footballers include Thierry Henry, Ronaldinho, Gerrard, Zidane and there are so many of them.
  37. My favourite football manager is Jose Mourinho aka ‘the special one’ (Chelsea Manager).
  38. My favourite cricketers include: Shahid Afridi, Gilchrist, Flintoff and Shoaib Akhtar (the notorious one).
  39. I think Stephen Fleming of New Zealand is the best captain among the current crop of captains.
  40. I also like to watch WWE, but the excitement to watch is no longer there after the departure of The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
  41. I listen to all genres of Music.
  42. My favourite singers include Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Sonu Nigam, Natalie Imbruglia and JAL.
  43. My favourite single of Natalie Imbruglia is ‘Wrong Impression’.
  44. My favourite actors include Keanu Reaves, Shahrukh Khan, The Rock and Antonio Banderas.
  45. I like reading though I rarely get time.
  46. I love writing free-verses (well, I have written very few).
  47. My favourite books include Zavia by Ashfaq Ahmed and Zero-point by Javed Ch.
  48. My favourite poets (-ess) include Iqbal, Parveen Shakir and yours’ truly.
  49. I’m bit reserve; off course not in my home.
  50. I don’t get free with people I don’t know much about.
  51. People think that I don’t talk much but my friends know how talkative I am.
  52. I’m bit aggressive as my star is Aries.
  53. Sometimes I assert myself on others (may be I’m wrong).
  54. I like people who are not cynical about others.
  55. I have much empathy for others.
  56. I don’t like lies.
  57. I am self-confident.
  58. I hate smoking but once I tried a cigarette with my friend.
  59. I like KFC.
  60. I like Walls Feast choc bar a lot.
  61. I’m tea addict but not as much as my brother and my father are.
  62. I can make tea. You can ask me how to make a great cup of tea.
  63. My favourite colour is Red. Also I like bright colours.
  64. I’m a truly soppy romantic at heart.
  65. I’m a contented person.
  66. I like to plan peculiar things.
  67. I like to do unique things.
  68. I like to lead as well as assist others in getting forward.
  69. I don’t like to be categorized.
  70. I never abuse.
  71. I’m prone to cold.
  72. I’m bad at measurements.
  73. I’m good at logic (well, that’s what I believe).
  74. I concentrate well.
  75. I don’t like sleep.
  76. I usually put on cap when I go outside because of hair problems.
  77. I’m normally the last one to get ready on special occasions.
  78. I have never taken any tuition during my whole education period.
  79. Due to lack of time available to me, sometimes I have to study in bus.
  80. During my exams, I get up early after mid-night to prepare for my papers.
  81. I like suburbs more than cities.
  82. I wish to see standard of education get better in Pakistan and esp. in Chakwal.
  83. I fully believe in the saying ‘knowledge is power’.
  84. My dream is to open a school in Chakwal offering free education to poor students.
  85. I think the best thing we can do is to be sincere with each other and to respect each other regardless of any variables.
  86. My father advocates two things in all matters of life: sincerity and forgiveness.
  87. I believe the best thing we can learn is to know about ourselves.
  88. I think sharing is the most difficult part of the life.
  89. I think we should not wait for the moment…we should seize it right there.
  90. I’ve learnt a lot from my father. Philosophical way to look at life, joy of helping others, motivating people, courage of being first to speak up or to do things, doing things with heart, working with passion, patience and appreciating how much I have…
  91. I travel too much for my own liking nowadays. I spend about 3.25 hours on the road travelling to my university and office (as my dwelling and university are at the opposite corners of the Lahore).
  92. I like travelling places but I rarely get chance.
  93. I visited Holy places of Makkah and Madina Sharif, when I was probably three and a half.
  94. My aim or should I say my duty of life is to be a good Muslim. O’ Allah show me the right path (Amen).
  95. I don’t agree with the modern approach to life that money is everything.
  96. I think our people should be doing a lot of charity work.
  97. I love writing. Hopefully I will write something worthwhile someday.
  98. Ayesha’s blog inspired me to start my own blog site.
  99. I haven’t told many people about my site ‘cause I was waiting for this list to complete.
  100. There is much more to me than this small list.
